This is from one of my favorite psalms:
"I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live...
For You have delivered my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
And my feet from falling.
I will walk before the Lord
In the land of the living."
Psalm 116:1-2, 8-9
I do choose to trust You, God, to deliver me now and always as You have delivered me in the past, and to hear me when I cry to You as You have always heard me before. You will not forsake Your child in times of trouble and sorrow, for You are always faithful.
